ARTISANAL CRAFTSMANSHIP
From an early age I admired the elegance and sophistication I saw in artisanal craftsmanship. Porcelain fascinated me because of the mystery of how something so strong and refined can be made from dust.

The Studio
in the city centre of Amersfoort, the Netherlands.
Each piece of porcelain I make is a quiet contradiction: made by hand, yet I aim to touch them as little as possible. Through every step—mixing raw granules into liquid slip, stirring to the right consistency, casting into molds, drying, trimming, bisque firing, glazing, and firing again—porcelain needs its own time and my patience to transform into strong, stonelike cups, bowls, and plates.
Still, each piece passes through my hands 30 times. Every touch is deliberate: sanding edges smooth, checking the drying stage, refining details. It’s a process of restraint and refinement, until finally, it’s ready for your table, your morning coffee, your home.

FROM MY HANDS TO YOUR TABLE
From its liquid form — smooth as melted chocolate — each piece is shaped, refined, and fired until it's ready for your table.
