Slight variations in shape, color, and glaze application are there to embrace.Store in a plate rack when you can. If you stack them, a small piece of textile between each piece prevents scratches. Though the marks that come with daily use have a charm of their own.

Handmade Production

Every piece starts as liquid porcelain, the consistency of melted chocolate. Poured into a mold, it firms into leather, then dries brittle as a biscuit. Two firings later, the powdery glaze transforms into the intense, brilliant color you see. No shortcuts. No machines. Just time, skill, and fire. Made by hand, in Amersfoort, one piece at a time.
