PRODUCT CARE

Made to be used.
Made to last.

Every piece leaves the studio ready for daily life. No shelf pieces, no handle with care stickers. Here is how to keep it looking the way it did the day it arrived.

EVERYDAY USE

Dishwasher safe.
Microwave safe.

Use it the way you would use anything else in your kitchen. The glaze is fired to hold up to daily washing without losing its depth of color.

CARING FOR THE GLAZE

Stacking is fine.
A little separation helps.

For pieces you plan to keep for a long time, a plate rack or a layer of soft textile between pieces will keep the glaze at its best over years of daily stacking.

A note on heat and cold

Porcelain likes gradual change. Avoid moving a piece straight from the freezer into a hot oven, or from the stovetop onto a cold surface. Let it meet temperature changes gradually and it will be with you for years.

MARKS OF THE HAND

No two pieces will ever be exactly alike.

Look closely and you will find small variations from piece to piece: a slightly different pool of glaze at the base, a subtle shift in tone between two plates from the same set. These are not mistakes to worry about. They are proof that a person, not a machine, shaped and glazed your piece by hand.
